Garland employees really enjoy giving back. And we’ve gotten really good at it too over the nine years since our unique tradition of “Spirit Week” was created.
In the beginning, we dedicated one week (typically at the end of May) to raising money for local and national charities through creative fundraising activities like paying to dress down, silent auctions, 50/50 raffles, bake sales and more!
And it seems like each year, Spirit Week gets bigger and bigger.
This year, we’ve chosen to support Achievement Centers for Children, a Cleveland-based non-profit whose mission is to empower children and adults with disabilities and their families to achieve their greatest potential.
The fundraising began months ago and, starting this week, it will ramp up during our official Spirit Week.
Although the majority of the FUNdraising happens at our headquarters on East 91st Street in Cleveland, Ohio, we also receive support from our Garland sales reps across the country and from numerous vendors we work with who generously donate items for our silent auction. It truly is a team effort!
